Rental Rules and Regulations

The Meadowood HOA Board has updated and revised the rules and regulations in July 2020, which includes a more robust list of details and additional items in the leasing and rental sections.  Collectively, all leasing and rental guidelines adhere to the Protective Covenants of Meadowood, Section 7.5 Leasing, and the subsequent sections through 7.5.8.

The points of emphasis listed below are intended to achieve much more than straightforward compliance to the leasing and rental guidelines.  Attaining the contact information for owners and tenants along with the importance of observing the current rules and regulations, allows the management team and board members to keep all current residents apprised of pertinent events and notifications.  This not only reinforces Meadowood’s long withstanding desire for cooperative, cohesive, and amicable relationships between all homeowners, tenants, and guests, but also supports our ultimate goal of simply ensuring all owners and tenants are welcome in our neighborhood.

Points of Emphasis:

1.       All long term leases must be no less than 6 months, and all short term leases cannot exceed the allowed two 2-week periods in any twelve month time frame.

2.       Notification (not approval) to the Meadowood HOA manager is required PRIOR TO your tenants/guests occupying your home.  Please send notification of tenants/guests to Donna Yost via email:  donna.yost@meadowoodhomeowners.org.

3.       Every lease MUST include a statement of the lessee acknowledging receipt and review of the Meadowood Governing Documents and agreement of the lessee and lessee’s guests to remain in compliance with the terms of the Governing Documents, and failure to do so shall constitute a default of the lease.  Link to document:   Protective Covenants of Meadowood

4.       Tenants must be provided with the Meadowood’s Rules & Regulations.  Link to document:  Meadowood Rules & Regulations (Revised July 2024)

5.       All Owners shall provide to the Meadowood HOA, current lease and tenant information including names of all occupants (including dogs), vehicle descriptions, and license plate numbers, and any other information reasonably requested.

6.       Owners are responsible for any violations or damages caused by tenants, guests, or any other visitors.

For record keeping purposes, lease and tenant information shall be sent to the Meadowood HOA Manager, Donna Yost, via email:  donna.yost@meadowoodhomeowners.org
